Low Moisture levels – Ironbark is a dense native wood. Our ironbark has an average moisture level of 2.5% to 9.0%. In comparison, Red Gum is around 12.0% to 20.0%. This low moisture level results in an easy to burn timber with limited ash.

High Heat – Ironbark will emit a high, consistent heat for 6-8 hours meaning one box of Wood Co ironbark will achieve a full night’s fire so you can wake up to a warm house. This high and consistent heat also makes it ideal for cooking and barbecuing.
